Book Sets

Our extensive selection of books, many of which have won numerous awards, will leave you spoilt for choice. We make it easier for you by grouping them into sets based on who’s using them and for what.

Story Cards

Mini storybooks that narrate a whole fable in just four pages. Used extensively in large scale literacy programmes, this low-cost, short-form, portable format allows us to reach children in the remotest corners.

A great initiative, every book has a lot of meaningful stories and illustrations to offer. They also open our eyes to various issues in our society by subtly conveying them through stories and ensuring they reach children of all ages. Great job by Pratham Books!

- SMITHA NAIR

Pratham Books is our own little rabbit-hole of adventures filled with linguistically stimulating stories that we get to write and translate. As authors and translators, working with the Pratham Books team has always been a crunchy-as-a-pakoda, delightfully fun, and khushi experience for us.

- Praba Ram and Sheela Preuitt, authors, translators and bloggers at inkpotplots.com

There is no controversy over the importance of children’s literature in a child’s life. But finding the right kind of literature, appropriate for children according to their interests, culture and reading abilities is still difficult in Indian languages. Pratham Books is one of the very few publishing houses creating quality children’s literature in Indian languages while also trying to address the huge diversity in a child’s world through literature. We wish them well for their remarkable work in the industry. Well done and keep it up!
